Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Emergencies Workshop

During life-threatening emergencies, the ability and skills of a healthcare professional make an immediate and prime impact. Vydehi Advanced Simulation Academy (VASA)VASA is providing Basic Cardiac life support and an Advanced Cardiac Emergencies Workshop based on clinical scenarios on high fidelity simulators with integration of Hololens for augmented reality. This course helps the healthcare providers to integrate Basic skills of CPR with Advanced life support interventions and the importance of effective crisis resource management (CRM). This course includes training on crisis management as well.

Eligible Participants: Medical Interns/ MBBS/ Medical Post Graduates/ Physicians/ AYUSH/ Critical Care Nurses/ Dental Interns and PG’s.

Duration: 03 days (09.00 am to 4.00 pm)
Batch Size: 20 participants

Fees: INR 12,900  (Twelve thousand nine hundred) + 18% GST per participan

10.00 am to 11.00 am Cardiac Arrest Algorithm and Management, Critical concepts of CPR Presentation- Adult Patient.
11.15 am to 1:00 pm Adult CPR practice with AED (Simulation Based Scenario)
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Lunch
2:00 pm to 3:45 pm Paediatric & Neonatal resuscitation – hands on skills practice. Treating adult and infant chocking. Hololens demo with PE/ Tension pneumothorax
3:45 pm to 4.00 pm Post-test and Feed back
Day 2
9.00 am to 9.30 am Pre-test
9.30 am to 11:15 am ECG (shockable and non-shockable) rhythms, Defibrillation, synchronised cardioversion and pacing, H’s and T’s, Crisis resource management
11:30 am to 12:00 noon Cardiac arrest, Tachycardia and bradycardia treatment protocols
12:00 am to 1:00 pm Case Scenario 1 and debriefing (Cardiac arrest)
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Lunch
2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Basic and advanced airway management lecture and Airway management practice
Day 3
9.00 am to 10.00 am Chest pain and stroke lecture
10.00 am to 11:00 am Scenario 2 and debriefing (Chest pain with Hololens)
11:15 am to 12:00 noon Scenario 3 and debriefing (Stroke)
12:00 noon to 1:00 pm Scenario 4 and debriefing (Bradycardia)
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Lunch
2:00 pm to 3:15 pm Scenario 5 and debriefing (Stable/ Unstable tachycardia/ Cardiac arrest- All together)
