Day 1: Essential Skills in Patient Care

  • Registration and Pre-test
  • VIDA visit & VASA visit
  • Lecture- Airway management- BVM, Oxygen delivery, Advanced Airway management- Supraglottic airways, endotracheal intubations
  • Hands-on/Practice on 3 Stations
  • Lecture- Basic skills – Suturing, Routes of medication administration- IV, IM, SC, Urine catheterization, Ryles tube insertion,
  • Hands-on/Practice- 4 to 6 Stations – Suture pad, Suturing arm, IV -Multipads / IV arms
  • Post-test- Theory and Practicals

Day 2: Basic Cardiac Life Support

  • Pre-test
  • Presentation about BLS
  • Presentation about CRM
  • Hands-on – Adult CPR and Team management concept practice (Choking, BMV, compressions, etc.) & AED
  • Lunch
  • Hands-on – Pediatric & Neonatal resuscitation
  • Hands-on – Adult, Infant choking
  • Demonstration of MI case scenarios using Hololens
  • Post Test- Theory and Practicals

Day 3: Advanced Management of Cardiac Emergencies

  • Registration & Pre-test
  • Presentation about algorithms- Cardiac Arrest, Bradycardia, Tachycardia
  • Identifying life-threatening cardiac rhythms
  • Appropriate use of defibrillators in a safe environment
