Day 1: Essential Skills in Patient Care
- Registration and Pre-test
- VIDA visit & VASA visit
- Lecture- Airway management- BVM, Oxygen delivery, Advanced Airway management- Supraglottic airways, endotracheal intubations
- Hands-on/Practice on 3 Stations
- Lecture- Basic skills – Suturing, Routes of medication administration- IV, IM, SC, Urine catheterization, Ryles tube insertion,
- Hands-on/Practice- 4 to 6 Stations – Suture pad, Suturing arm, IV -Multipads / IV arms
- Post-test- Theory and Practicals
Day 2: Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Pre-test
- Presentation about BLS
- Presentation about CRM
- Hands-on – Adult CPR and Team management concept practice (Choking, BMV, compressions, etc.) & AED
- Lunch
- Hands-on – Pediatric & Neonatal resuscitation
- Hands-on – Adult, Infant choking
- Demonstration of MI case scenarios using Hololens
- Post Test- Theory and Practicals
Day 3: Advanced Management of Cardiac Emergencies
- Registration & Pre-test
- Presentation about algorithms- Cardiac Arrest, Bradycardia, Tachycardia
- Identifying life-threatening cardiac rhythms
- Appropriate use of defibrillators in a safe environment
